BEWDLEY is being brought to the digital stage as the historic market town becomes the background to a new mobile phone app.

Naughty or Nice, a game from Bewdley-based firm TBC Digital, will see users help Santa to deliver presents to children down their chimneys.

Martin Saunders, managing director, gained inspiration for the game after looking out of his office window at Snuff Mill Warehouse, in Park Lane.

“It’s a fun and catchy game helping Santa deliver presents to the nice children in time for Christmas,” he said.

“You can fly over Bewdley Bridge and past Beales Corner to help Santa on his Christmas delivery schedule, but there is an unpleasant surprise for the children who haven’t been so good.”

The app has been developed by 19-year-old apprentice Sam George, who recently joined TBC Digital from Bewdley-based training provider, TDM.

Sam said: “It’s been great working on this project. I’ve learnt so much in such a short space of time.

“It’s great to see our app available to download.”

The crooked rooftops and character chimneys have provide the background for the Christmas game which is now available across iOS, android and various tablets.

Shuttle readers can unlock a 'naughty' mode by entering the code ‘shuttle’ when downloading the game. The code is valid until December 31.
