A man has denied the murder of a missing woman.

Dean Lowe, 33, is accused of killing Kirby Noden, 32, who has not been seen since January 2017.

Lowe, of Beacon Road, Marazion, Cornwall, pleaded not guilty on the morning of the start of his trial at Truro Crown Court to a single charge of murder.

It is alleged the offence was committed between January 10 and May 19 2017.

High Court judge Mrs Justice May has begun the process to select a jury and the trial is expected to begin on Tuesday when Paul Dunkels QC, prosecuting, will outline the Crown’s case.

Miss Noden, who is also known as Kirsty Noden, lived in Marazion.

Lowe is being represented by Anna Vigars QC and Jo Martin QC and his trial is expected to last up to three weeks.

He was remanded in custody.
