Colwall

WATCH out for publicity for the Colwall Festival. This is to be held from July 10-20 at venues throughout the village. There is something for everyone, music, art, drama, guided walks, photographic competition, flowers, cricket, story telling, cream teas, grand final of the pub quiz and much, much more. The Colwall Players annual fun quiz will be held tonight, Friday, May 9 at the village hall at 7.30pm. Bar and refreshments available.

An exhibition of art and crafts in aid of St Michael's Hospice will take place at Colwall Village Hall on Saturday, May 10 from 11am-3pm. There will be paintings and drawings, art photography, handicrafts and ceramics. Refreshments will be served all day and admission is free.

Don't forget to enter the Colwall Festival photographic competition, title What I Love about Colwall. Entry forms and further details from Steve Hockett on 01684 564872.

Tickets are now available for the next production by the Colwall Players. A Murder is Announced by Agatha Christie from Thursday, May 29-Saturday, May 231 at 7.30pm at Colwall Village Hall. Tickets £6 and £3 concessions from John Goodwin Estate Agents.
