Callow End
CHRISTIAN Aid week is marked from May 11-17 when door-to-door collections are marked through an envelope delivery scheme. This year's message is aid for Bangladesh in providing clean, safe water for drinking. Coastal communities risk loss of homes and clean water through contamination by rising sea water due to global climate change and global warming. Please give generously.
A coffee morning and plant sale to support Christian aid will be held on Saturday,May 17 from 10am-noon at 33b Upton Road, Callow End. For details ring Frances Betts (01905) 830816).
This Sunday, May 4 a Spring Fayre is taking place at Severn Heights Nursing Home on the Old Hills, at 3pm. Proceeds in aid of outings and entertainment for the residents. Everyone welcome.
