Revamped library opens doors
UPTON upon Severn's new look public library officially opens its doors on Monday (April 28).
The revamped library has been extended to incorporate a new headquarters for Upton's local police team, and a customer service centre, similar to one at Malvern Library, allowing residents to access information and advice on a wide range of district and county council services.
There are also improved onsite facilities for holding Citizens Advice Bureau services.
Community library co-ordinator Jenny Ross said: "We are very excited about opening, and working in partnership with the police and the councils.
"The new building is very beautiful and we are looking forward to getting back in."
