A MALVERN Wells resident has put in a planning application aimed at reducing the carbon dioxide emission of his property.
Mr C Anton has applied to Malvern Hills District Council to add an extension, solar panels and a mini-wind turbine to 27 Jasmine Road, Fruitlands.
A statement from agents Berry and Young says that up to five square metres of solar panels will be fitted and up to 10 square metres of photo-voltaic panels.
The former will supply domestic hot water and the latter electricity to supplement the usual sources. The "micro wind turbine" will also supply extra electricity.
"All three systems are designed to reduce the CO2 emissions of the existing property and reduce energy consumption," says the statement.
