I WOULD have thought that Councillor John Raine, would have found out what a cafe society was before writing his letter, published in last weeks edition of the Malvern Gazette, on St George and the dragon. To add flippantly 'whatever that is' shows his disdain for the idea.
Malvern has the potential to become a cafe society which is always a benefit to an area, not only for residents but visitors too.
If he does, at some time, take the trouble to find out the meaning, he will find that it is not mutually exclusive to quality of life or character of places like Malvern.
