ALONG with many other people in and around Upton I am delighted that common sense has prevailed regarding the Marina appeal. The town is desperate for investment and surely this development will bring much needed income to the local traders.
Let's hope that this project can kick start the town economy and contribute to the long term recreational and financial future of the area. Thankfully the planning process is designed to take account of the bigger picture and has not been swayed by the disproportionate media coverage of the few people against the project.
