THIS is Dixey, a lovely 12-month-old black and white Labrador-cross who came into the care of RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch through no fault of her own.

Geraldine Haynes, branch trustee, said: "Dixey is still very puppy-like and bouncy, playful with lots of energy.

"She is a very friendly and affectionate girl who loves everyone. Dixey enjoys her walks and is good with other dogs."

Dixey is looking for a kind, loving home and would be fine to live with older children. She is housetrained, spayed, chipped, vaccinated and will be rehomed with six weeks' free pet insurance.

Please call Geraldine for more information on 01886 822083.

For more rescued animals seeking their forever homes, visit the local branch website rspcaworcester.co.uk or call Geraldine for dogs on the number above or Pamela for cats and rabbits on 01905 841354.

The charity's cats can be viewed at the new branch rehoming centre between 11am and 4pm every day except Wednesdays. The centre's address is The Holdings, Holdings Lane, Broomhall, near Worcester WR5 3FP.

An appeal at the start of the year to find a new home for Martha, a tan greyhound-cross, has been successful. She has now gone to a lovely new home where she is settling in well.
