MALVERN-based band The White Feather Collective will be playing their next gig at the Cube on Saturday, December 17.

The band has already made a name for itself in Malvern with numerous sold-out gigs from its beginnings at the West Malvern Social Club's open mic nights three years ago.

Now the psychedelic-surf quintet is on the brink of the big time, with international TV performances, a major phone advertisement deal and countless sell-out gigs - including prestigious London and Edinburgh dates - already under their belts.

Their sound has been described as “bombastic-soul-surf-rock”, with influences stretching from the Animals to Captain Beefheart.

The band has built a reputation for high octane shows with a driving rhythm section, soulfully archaic guitar tones and vigorously profound vocal deliveries.

The band write, film, record, design and produce all of the content that forms their musical presence in Malvern, happy amongst the hills.

The Cube gig will see them performing with extra musicians accompanying them on keyboards, vocals and percussion.

Supporting them is Matt Woosey, another local talent made good, who gigs extensively across the continent and has made eight albums.

Tickets can be bought online via the Cube website or the band’s Facebook page.
