YOUNGSTERS at Welland Pre-school can now find out about the wonders of nature thanks to a new outdoor learning and play area.
The new garden space was created at the pre-school in Marlbank Road over the summer and paid for by fundraising activities.
The area is home to a mud kitchen, science investigation zone, a bug hotel, a mud pit and a stage.
Carol Ibbs of the pre-school said: "Our children have already loved getting their welly boots on to take advantage of all of the resources available.
"The garden area would never have gone ahead without the support of the parish council, and Welland Pre-school would like to say a huge thank-you to all who helped fundraise for the wonderful space.
"Children under the age of five are welcome to use the space outside pre-school hours, and we are sure the local community will benefit from this wonderful natural play zone."
