A MAN indecently exposed himself near children under 10.

West Mercia Police is appealing for help to trace a man who indecently exposed himself to a group of children in Redditch yesterday (Tuesday, July 26).

The incident happened at about 6pm near to the footbridge between Kempsey Close and Hampton Close, Woodrow South.

The man exposed himself and sat down near to the children, all girls under ten, before walking off towards a nearby shop.

He did not speak to the girls.

The man is described as white, in his fifties with blonde or grey hair. He was wearing a grey T-shirt and black shorts.

Inspector Darren Webster said: "We are appealing to anyone who was in this area yesterday and may have information about this incident, or the man responsible, to come forward and help us to find him.

"We would also like to hear from anyone who has experienced anything similar to contact us so that we can prevent further incidents."
