BAGS of frozen potato wedges have been recalled by a budget supermarket because they may pose a health risk.
Lidl is recalling bags of its Harvest Basket Potato Wedges, 750g, because wheat and gluten has not been declared in English on the packaging.
It means the product is a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to wheat and gluten.
The affected packets have the best before date 18.04.18 with a lot code of L6108 only.
Anyone who has bought the product and have an allergy to wheat and gluten is told not eat it but, instead, return it to a Lidl store for a full refund.
Other Harvest Basket products are not affected by the recall.
