A QUIZ night in the village of Abbots Morton near Inkberrow raised £263 for Acorns Children's Hospice.
A similar amount went into village hall funds to help its refurbishment programme.
The quiz was organised by 15-year-old Imo Dykes and her mother Sarah.
"It's really great to be able to help Acorns with the wonderful work they do and support our village hall at the same time," said Imo. " We hope we can make it a permanent date in the village calendar."
