TOP jockey Tony McCoy has claimed a beer can was thrown at him at Worcester Racecourse yesterday (Friday, September 19).
After finishing second on favourite Saint Helena in the last race of the evening, the 18-times champion jockey was approached by an angry racegoer.
McCoy told the Racing Post that he "had a beer can thrown at me", before racecourse security escorted the punter away.
Prior to the incident, McCoy had notched four winners at the meeting.
