PRINCESS Anne will be in Malvern on Wednesday, February 23, to officially open the town’s new Community Hospital.
She will be invited to tour the building and meet patients, staff and residents, before unveiling a plaque to commemorate the visit.
NHS Worcestershire this week announced details of the schedule for the event.
The Royal party will arrive at 2pm and the Princess will be greeted by NHS Worcestershire chairman Bryan Smith.
She will then receive a briefing on Malvern Community Hospital, its history and its role in the community from matron Lin Ingles, before unveiling the plaque and meeting invited guests at the nurse station at 3pm.
