THE 1st Malvern Wells Scout Group is re-opening its Beaver Scout Colony later this month after several years of closure.
The revived group, for boys and girls aged six-eight, will meet for the first time on Tuesday, February 23, at 5.45pm.
Ken Allcock, the acting group leader, said, "We have been very fortunate in recruiting several volunteer leaders who are keen to provide attractive activities.
"These are based on traditions which are designed to give youngsters increasing confidence, responsibility and life skills."
There are still a few places left, and to register for one of them, call Linda Edwards on 01684 569677.
"We are also keen to hear from adults who want to become leaders and assistants," added Mr Allcock.
