POST offices in Poolbrook and Hanley Castle have been shut this week following the announcement that none of the branches earmarked for closure would be saved.
Poolbrook was first to go on Tuesday, while Hanley Castle followed shortly afterwards on Thursday.
Manager of Hanley Castle Post Office, Jackie Woodriss, said: “I’m absolutely devastated after being here for 32 years.
“I had quite a few people here this morning and they’re obviously as upset as they were when they did not get the reprieve at the consultation period.
“I’m a little bit up in the air at the moment. The shop will remain open but I will not remain at the helm.”
Link Top Post Office will remain open until early February. Mary Dexter, who runs the branch, said: “Although the post office is closing the rest of the business is staying open. This includes the news agent and the pharmacy.”
