TWO new apartments could be created above a dental surgery in Malvern Link.
A planning application has been submitted for a ‘vertical extension’ of the Richmond Dental Surgery, in Richmond Road.
A second storey and two attic rooms would be added to the existing single-storey building to accommodate the two apartments.
Agent Marcus Cleaver said the existing single-storey building was an ‘alien presence’ in the street, and that the extension would bring it more into keeping with the rest of the road.
Access to the dental surgery would be unchanged, and the apartments would be accessed by a new stairway on the side of the building.
