PETRA Jackson is right to say the circus is a great British tradition.
All human circuses are very entertaining. Unfortunately Ms Jackson did not mention how the wild animals in Circus Mondao are trained. Should wild animals even be ‘trained’.
I don’t know why Ms Jackson thought I shouted abuse at people, some circus goers did stop and tell me about the condition of the animals they’d seen and discuss concerns about the training of wild animals in circuses.
Any ponies I saw at the back of Circus Mondao were tethered. As for other animal events at the Three Counties Showground, I have never seen any other event there that involved wild animals performing. Circuses do not need animals to be entertaining.
