Is there room?

IN all the excitement about the possible arrival of a large Tesco and/or Sainsbury supermarket on employment land on the ringroad, there is an assumption that the two important local companies, Ledbury Welding and Galebreakers, will be staying in Ledbury and moving to new, larger sites more suitable to their successful businesses.

We are assured there will be no loss of jobs due to losing these businesses.

Am I alone in wondering where two huge new industrial sites are going to be found?

There is no room on the Bosbury Road Industrial Site (it’s full) and the fields beyond the viaduct is somehow supposed to cope with the 800 new houses planned for our town (though it looks far too small a space for even half that number).
