Malvern Wells Station

I WAS intrigued to notice in the edition of November 30 that Roger Sutton of the Civic Society was credited with the idea that the Old Station Yard at Malvern Wells should be brought to use as a railway station in preference to the current proposal for houses.

This proposal was made by me on behalf of the CPRE seven weeks earlier. The letter, dated October 3, is on the Malvern HIlls District Council planning website, as is the proposal by Mr Sutton, dated November 22.

Let us hope that our mutual inspiration is given serious consideration.
