I AM amazed at Worcestershire County Council in cutting the bus service on the Brook Farm estate to every two hours after 9am. In the past few years we have seen the service dwindle from two an hour, to one an hour and now every two hours. They have invested in a 42A service which runs to Court Road, St. Andrew's Road to Fruitlands, so the Fruitlands estate remains with a bus an hour.
There is a large percentage of elderly residents on the estate, who need and rely on regular bus services. Now they have terminated the route at Morrisons it means that anyone waiting to go to Malvern Link has to change buses at either Barnards Green or Morrisons.
Anyone going to Barnards Green to do some shopping has almost one and a half hours to wait for a return bus home, and if you are unable to do a shop at Morrisons in 25 minutes then there is a further two hour wait for the bus.
