Vicious attack

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with every word that Susan Key wrote (Your Letters, August 24) in her response to Mr Geffen's letter, headed Not justice, but revenge' (Your Letters, August 17).

I too signed the petition, and I consider Mr Geffen's remarks deeply offensive.

Furthermore, I would suggest that Mr Geffen and those of a like mind would hold totally different opinions had it been one of their family who had suffered a vicious attack, which so easily could have been murder.
