Correcting an injustice

Regarding Mr Geffen's letter headlined Not Justice but Revenge' (Your Letters, August 17), I feel he would make a good politician - they also seem to know exactly what the population are thinking without consulting us!

I signed the petition he refers to and how dare he accuse me of seeking revenge in doing so. I can assure him that revenge never entered my head at all, merely the thought that an injustice had occurred.

I feel strongly that there is little or no justice in this country any more and it is the do-gooders' and like-minded people to Mr Geffen who must take some responsibility for this state of affairs.
