IF you do a feature on the floods you may wish to include the staff of Innovis and Aubrey's Farm, adjacent to Junction 2 of the M50.
We, and hundreds of others, were gridlocked on the M50 and adjacent roads. Innovis opened their offices at about 8pm on Friday, July 20, and provided tea, coffee, crisps, biscuits, sandwiches etc, heat, telephones and toilets - all most welcome.
We were able to leave at about 4.30am on Saturday and make our way, gingerly, past abandoned cars and flood debris along the back roads to Welland and home.
I am sure that all the others who benefited from Innovis and the farm's kindness would join with us in sending them heartfelt thanks in turning a most horrendous experience into a night with a difference.
