Christine Shepherd, in criticising the name of Prospect View for the new health centre, obviously lacks local knowledge!

Perhaps she would have understood if it had been called Prospect Point View. I thought it was an imaginative and totally appropriate name. Not only does the new health centre look up at the favourite viewing point - Prospect Point on the Worcestershire Beacon, but "prospect" has more than one meaning.

Thinking of the meaning in terms of "a positive view of the future" is most suitable. I did wonder if those who thought of the name had considered this - I imagine they had!
