I WOULD like to say thank you to all those considerate drivers who slowed down while driving through the flood on Wells Road (next to Malvern Common) last Monday afternoon and noticed myself and my grandson in his pushchair on the pavement next to the flood water.
It is a shame the driver of a Range Rover coming from Malvern did not see fit to slow down and drove through the flood water at speed, swamping my 15-month-old grandson and myself from head to toe.
May I appeal to those drivers who persist in speeding along flooded roads, to consider pedestrians and slow down!
I wonder whether the Range Rover driver thinks it amusing to drench a helpless baby in his pushchair, leaving him distressed in his wet clothes until I could get him home.
