I FEEL I must express my sentiments as regards the removal of Ms Corbett's headstone at Great Malvern Cemetery.
The reason was given that it did not comply with regulations. May I just say that losing a four year old son does not comply with life's regulations.
Those responsible for that decision should be bowing their heads in shame.
A cemetery should be a final resting place for our loved ones. A place to visit and pay our respects.
What Ms Corbett has done is what anybody in her position would have implemented. A truly lovely monument to her son who never had a healthy life from birth.
I hope that all concerned will have second thoughts on their decision, else Malvern In Bloom will become Malvern in Gloom.
We are in 2015 not 1915. Bring common sense and sympathy to the fore.
GRAHAM HALE Malvern
