I WRITE in response to the letter (March 27) from Mark Young, the PR manager of Malvern For All Ltd.
Firstly, Malvern For All Ltd is not an informal group of like-minded souls desperate for the thrills of a cable car ride, but a private limited company, and they should put either Ltd or Plc after their name in any communications.
Their company policies are what their directors have decided for the future of the company.
As a result they should not expect the Malvern Hills Conservators to jump to their bidding in asking that a new Act of Parliament be requested at enormous cost to the public for their benefit as a private entity.
I agree with your correspondent Nick Saunders (April 10) that there is no need to "consolidate" the Malvern Hills Acts as they are quite clear that encroachments and developments are simply not allowable.
I also want to thank voters in Link ward for their support at the recent by-election that led to my election as a conservator, and I look forward to the challenge of supporting the work in conserving the hills.
Richard Bartholomew
