I URGE residents to contact Malvern Town Council with your views on what appears to many to be a totally unbalanced bus service service in Malvern.
When the so-called public consultation by Worcestershire County Council took place last year, I was the only person to stage a public meeting in Malvern, allowing residents to put questions directly to Malvern Chase ward county councillor Lucy Hodgson and others.
At that time Fruitlands, Brook Farm Drive and most of Chase Ward had a one-hour bus service, now it has a two-hourly service.
Meanwhile, in Malvern Link, buses are currently scheduled every 10 minutes, and occasionally two buses are scheduled to arrive at the same time.
This imbalance is of acute concern to Malvern Chase residents, who, even if they can catch a bus to town, are faced with a round trip than can take half a day because of the two-hourly return service.
