LAST week we had a family stroll on the Malverns.
We parked at Wyche Cutting and our party of adults (including a wheelchair user), children and a dog took the surfaced track up towards the Beacon.
Once down we celebrated with tea, cake and newspapers in the family-friendly cafe H20 at the Wyche Innovation Centre, just a few yards from the car park.
So what's all the fuss about a cable car and cafe?
If Malvern For All really want to see Malvern thrive then why not develop a really good state-of-the-art visitor centre right in town, celebrating not only the hills but also its fascinating history – a more sensible way forward?
