Malvern Hills Cable Car Artists Impression (19705542)
WITH reference to having a cable car up to the Beacon, I remember when I was a girl in the 1950s and living in Malvern.
The powers-that-be were against having a fish and chip shop, not wanting to move on in those days. It seems on reflection the same can be said of the cable car.
I do feel that being in my seventies it would be an advantage to have one as I found it exhausting to walk up to St Anne's well.
Therefore, it would be best both for the locals and tourists to have this facility.
