IN earlier times I have no doubt that Malvern was seen as a modern town promoting the latest medical advances and modern architecture. A place for the in-crowd to enjoy themselves and be seen.
Oh, how different now, with a stick-in-the-mud attitude where old sheds and gas lamps are seen as being desirable and new cutting edge ideas like the cable car are derided.
I am surprised that some locals are not pushing for the return of steam trains to Malvern station and delivery of mail by stagecoach.
Come on, Malvern, get into the 21st century!
