IT was quite amazing to see the Malvern Gazette's response to news that The Sun was considering dropping Page 3 (January 23).
Rather than report on the pressure The Sun has come under to end its inclusion of bare-breasted women in its pages, provide information on the No More Page 3 campaign or the arguments for and against the presence of soft porn in a daily newspaper, the Gazette published two photos of 'Local girls who once graced Page 3'.
It's depressing to think my local newspaper is equally as behind the times as The Sun.
