THANK you, Martin Willis, for your well informed and excellent letter on the NHS (Amended Duties and Powers) Bill (December 5).
It will be a happy day if this Bill is passed for it will be a move away from stealthy privatisation of our health services and will result in less pressure on choices made by GP commissioning groups.
They will be enabled to choose NHS services instead of private suppliers which threaten the integrity of the NHS.
It is most disconcerting that our MP, Harriett Baldwin, is providing us with misleading statistics about the NHS.
We would like to think she placed honesty with her constituents above party politics.
