On the evening of Tuesday, November 11, I dashed into Waitrose Malvern between ferrying children to various activities.
In my frazzled state I left my handbag (containing my purse, bank cards, driving licence and myWaitrose card) hanging on the trolley outside the store.
The next morning I received a call from myWaitrose card services to tell me that a gentleman shopping in the store the previous evening had found my handbag and handed it in.
Unfortunately, Waitrose did not have a record of the kind shopper's name or I would have written to thank him personally.
I hope that you will permit me to use your publication to express my most heartfelt thanks to the gentleman who found my handbag. I am extremely grateful to him for his honesty and kindness.
