MALVERN Hills District Council is seeking to finalise access rights at Sling Lane railway tunnel from two land owners.
One of these landowners holds land which is involved in two separate developments, the proposed Hayslan Fields development and the council’s own Sling Lane Playing Fields development.
It is essential to the district council that access for the Sling Lane Playing Fields development is agreed with this landholder and with Network Rail.
Until these access agreements are reached it cannot complete its Sling Lane Playing Fields plan.
The district council needs to be scrupulous in informing the local community of the terms of these agreements.
Three weeks ago the council’s chief executive assured a full response to a request for this information. I trust it will come prior to the event.
