So just what's improved at Sling Lane playing fields?

FURTHER to the recent advertisement in the paper by the council regarding the leasing of the Sling Lane Playing fields to a local football club, and how the improvements will benefit all.

I would recommend the council pay a visit to the Sling Lane fields, where they will see only neglect to the open fields, where sport cannot be played as the grass has been allowed to grow to so height it is even difficult to walk in.

As a regular dog walker in the fields, it has even become difficult to clean up after the dog has fouled, and it can be seen that many are not even bothering.

There is a very nice area of grass which has been mown regularly – the new football pitches – but these are fenced off and not available for the general public.

Please, it was sold to us as an improved area for all, which it is definitely is not at this point.

Total agreement, this is a farce!

Michael Crescent playing field is about to unveil a brand new communal dog foul/litter bin in the under 12's playing area!

May be the Malvern Gazette will us allow to post pictures of the great event?

You'll have to disregard the metal structure that use to be a rope bridge up until last year, when the council removed the ropes! DO BE CAREFUL NOT TO TRIP AND TWIST YOUR ANKLE IN THE HOLE WHERE THE BOUNCY DUCK USE TO BE EITHER!
