The Lib Dems have changed sides again

First published in Letters

I see the Liberal Democrats have changed sides again.

Only 12 months ago councillors Tom Wells and David Hughes welcomed a new era of joint working with the Lib Dems joining the administration.

Last week Cllr Wells said that the administration needs to be held to account and that the council was at an all-time low.

But just what as it that Cllr Wells found out in those 12 months that made him run away from the administration so quickly.

Having been a Lib Dem voter, keeping up with all these about faces is making me wonder if the Liberal Democrats have any idea which direction they are headed in and where my vote is put to best use next time.

Hang on a bit. If the LibDems have changed sides then they must be in with the Greens. Didn't the Greens leave the LibDem Group on the council about a year ago to line up with some ex-Tories and UKIP to form a new political groupl? Does it mean that that the sandal and sock brigade are all together again? LibDem and UKIP in the same bed?
What's going on?
