I HAVE today had a delightful experience with a local business.
I booked a llama trek with Simon Winter of Malvern Hills Walking Tours for my daughter and her friend.
We had booked a trek up to British Camp. What an experience!
Desmond and Hurley, the llamas were calm, lovely companions who caused quite a stir on the hills among walkers.
The animals enjoy the walking very much. Simon is an incredibly charming and knowledgeable guide, and being sensitive to the non-walking group we were, stopped for little rests whenever necessary!
I can only say how fortunate we are in Malvern to have such entrepreneurial spirit and the opportunity to experience something completely different while enjoying the natural beauty of the hills.
We need more local people to support businesses such as Mr Winters'.
