FORGET Pandora’s Box (Letters, April 11) as it is not applicable to a cable car project to enable the elderly, families, tourists and others to enjoy the pleasures of walking on our precious hills.
Yes, we need toilets and cups of tea but these could be provided at the base station to keep the hills as clear as possible.
Malvern needs visitors now that the spa treatments have vanished, and a cable car would provide a valuable attraction.
People come from miles around to go up to the Aiguille du Midi from Chamonix. They would do the same here.
