I read with interest the Malvern Town Council newletter issue 28 Spring 2014:
"A new four-wheel drive utility vehicle has been purchased to utilize the 2013/14 budget underspend."
Unless I have misinterpreted this information, the town council has spent money on a vehicle that was not entirely necessary in order to spend our money that was not needed to carry out its duty on our behalf.
Perhaps instead, unless I am mistaken, the town council could have reduced the amount of tax it takes from the residents of Malvern in the year 2014/15.
It makes one wonder for how many years our local authorities have been spending, and by definition, wasting, money they collect from many of the local population who can ill afford it. I look forward to the town council's response.
