WITH reference to the news item in the Malvern Gazette about the councillors' pay increase, I would like to emphasise that Upton town councillors do not receive any remuneration.
All the councillors are volunteers and do their increasing amount of work for no pay.
Whatever you may think town councillors do not get paid. I must emphasise that point.
