So often I see our local Conservative councillors and members of Parliament wringing their hands and complaining "It's all the Government's fault".
They need to take courage in their hands and follow the example of county councillor Phil Grove in standing up to David Cameron and his Eton vandals in resisting the cutbacks to our fire service.
Our millionaire MP cabinet members might then reverse some of their more insidious policies that are destroying our health and education services while covering our green fields with houses.
They might even find a way of limiting the bankers' bonuses that we as taxpayers seem to be constantly subsidising.
