It's good to hear the views of dog owners, but I wonder just how long it will be before we realise just what keeping a dog really means.
I had one once. It was hard work, time consuming, smelly, inconvenient, noisy, unhygienic and expensive.
The myths surrounding dog ownership are perpetrated by large multi-national companies.
One day we will look back with disbelief at the keeping of large animals within our homes. But first we have to escape the brain-washing from the dog and cat food industry, and numerous connected businesses.
Alas, it might never happen.
(A short note to dog owners: don't bother to reply; I already know what you are going to write!)
