Further to Cllr Patricia Morgan's letter, it's a relief to know that there are no plans at the moment to close Ledbury library even though opening hours have been cut more severely than for Ross or Leominster.
This at least gives the Ledbury Library Development Group a chance to get into discussion about the future and the library's transfer to the Master's House.
With this in mind, members of the group will be in the library on Saturday, February 8, - National Library Day. They will be on hand to talk about the group and to show floor plans of the Master's House.
The room designated for the main part of the library still contains the original bread oven. Is this a first for a library?
Readers are warmly invited into the library to find out more.
While your there, why not show your support by each borrowing two books to mark National Library Day?
