IF you have ever wondered about the saying “it’s a no brainer”, then consider the choice facing Worcestershire County Council.

Build four luxury houses on land adjacent to Malvern Cube or support ambitious and exciting proposals for sustainable outdoor amenities that benefit the whole community: An outdoor skate park, an amphitheatre with an oval space for outdoor classes and activities, a dedicated wildlife zone and an area for toddlers and small children.

The proposals have been developed by local volunteer Kate March a recent garden design graduate of Worcester University. You can see the proposals and make your comments at Malvern Cube or on the Land Campaign Facebook page; facebook.com/Malvern Cube LandCampaign.

Join with us in urging the county council not to appeal the planning decision made by Malvern Hills District Council in October and to work with the trust to create a sustainable community asset that can be enjoyed for many years to come.

After all, with the proposed cuts to preventive services for adults and young people we will need such facilities more than ever.
