HOW pleased I was to read David Asquith’s letter on the subject of immigrants (November 29). I hope I am not alone in welcoming his informative and amusing riposte.
Hopefully our MP Harriet Baldwin also read his letter and will be influenced and motivated to share these views with her colleagues.
It is good to have the immigration debate placed in a historical context.
