FOLLOWING the recent resignations of Upton councillors and a detailed statement from Councillor Ostick about issues within the council, I find most disconcerting Coun Ostick’s claim that there will be more resignations.
This town needs help to get back on its feet after the flood defence work, bridge painting and road resurfacing and now the council is in obvious disarray. There is a will within the town to ‘help itself’ but it does need to be led by an enthusiastic group of councillors who have the good of the town at heart.
